From an expert: Enabling Flash Player

Adobe Flash Player is a plugin that allows you to interact with sites that offer multimedia experiences, like games and animation. Enabling Adobe Flash Player on your Mac is easily done, provided. Click the Websites tab and scroll down to the Plug-ins section. Locate the Adobe Flash Player entry. Locating the Adobe Flash Player entry. Click the check box to enable Flash Player. Enabling Flash Player. Select a setting to use for Flash Player when you visit other websites. Selecting an option of your choice. Apple Safari version 14, released for macOS in September 2020, will no longer load Adobe Flash Player or play Flash content. Please visit Apple’s Safari support for more information. Scroll down the list on the left until you find Adobe Flash; select, then to the right, decide whether you want behaviour on, off or ask by default & for any specific sites. Click the Tools icon in the upper-right corner of Internet Explorer. (The icon looks like a gear.)





In the pop-up menu that appears, click Manage Add-ons.





In the dialog box that appears, select Toolbars and Extensions.


Select Tools and Extensions as the Add-on Types from Manage Add-ons dialog box.




In the list of Add-ons, look for “Shockwave Flash Object” (another name for Flash Player).

Iphoto update for mac. In the Status column, check to see whether Shockwave Flash Object is Disabled. If it is disabled, click the row for Shockwave Flash Object to highlight it.

In the lower-right corner of the Manage Add-ons dialog box, click Enable.
