FineReader Pro (25% Off) ABBYY FineReader Pro for Mac has been around for almost 20 years now. Tesseract is an open source text recognition (OCR) Engine, available under the Apache 2.0 license. It can be used directly, or (for programmers) using an API to extract printed text from images. It supports a wide variety of languages. Tesseract doesn't have a built-in GUI.

I want install Tesseract in a folder called tesseract-ocr/ in my home folder (/Users/[your-username]/ or '~' or '$HOME' for short).

My problem is following link: svn checkout http://tesseract-ocr.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ tesseract-ocr.

Tesseract Macos Swift

For mac users, it is the link to install et configure tesseract-ocr. but this link obsolete. I wan know, if Apple have solution too resolve this problem for mas os users?
